And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionRole SummaryThe Account Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans to maintain existing business and identify opportunities for growth to meet or exceed annual sales goals. This individual is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts and ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.Job DescriptionDedicate focused effort and resources to provide selling support to key Rockwell Automation accounts in Automotive Industry. Develop an annual strategic sales plan to target support for the accounts which includes the objectives, strategies and action plans for an identified functional unit within Rockwell Automation. Integrate these plans into branch/regional office strategic plans.Establishes strong relationships at all organization levels within the customer base and understands customers’ processes, business drivers and organizational models. Conduct sales calls on a periodic basis, informing them of Rockwell Automation products, product applications and services.Follows the Rockwell Automation sales process : knows assigned accounts, plans for growth, maintains a healthy funnel, drives opportunities to closure and evaluates performance to goal.Understands the industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers and trends), desired business outcomes and Rockwell Automation offerings as well as partner capabilities relevant to assigned accounts.Manages sales activities according to Rockwell Automation’s outcome-based selling methodology.Qualifies customer opportunities, engages the appropriate resources and coordinates the solution design to impact the customer’s decision process and presents solutions to the customer (value proposition).Coordinates Rockwell Automation account team, senior management and technical domain experts to plan for and win identified opportunities.Maintains accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Dynamics Customer Relationship Management System.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Automation Control, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.3 to 10 years of experience in Sales or System Engineering.Business experience in Automotive is preferred.Strong complex account management skills and key/major customer navigation skills are preferred.Self-motivated, independent, a team player, good communicator and business/customer-focused.Good proficiency in English.Desired QualificationDemonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans. Effective analytical skills.Excellent business acumen, effective planning skills and problem-solving skills.
