What you will do As an Application Engineer in the MPD(Multi-Market Power Division), your responsibilities will range from new product definition, development, test and evaluation, and customer technical support for Power MOSFETs (30-1200 V) including wide band gap devices. Key Objectives- Investigate and research the power conversion topologies required for AI platforms and define the characteristics of next-generation power semiconductors for them.- Build standard evaluation boards and systems, test and evaluate development stage products, mass production stage products, and competitor products. - Write various technical documents (datasheets, application notes, EVB user guides, new product promotional materials, - Provide professional technical support to key customers. Initial duties include building test environments for product evaluation.

You will work with a variety of essential equipment required for power electronics experiments, including power supplies, digital oscilloscopes, electronic loads, DMMs, etc.

You will design, build, automate, and operate a variety of dedicated evaluation boards for different purposes to characterize various parameters of semiconductors.

This will require you to utilize a variety of design and simulation tools as appropriate.

Evaluate, analyze, and report test results. Each member of the MPD(Multi-Market Power Division) application group works in close collaboration with each other by appropriately dividing projects among various team units and communicating with each other.

You will be required to communicate with colleagues in various parts of the world from time to time, and you must be able to quickly acquire work and skills, have a strong foundation, and be willing to grow as an advanced AE.
