Vestas' Global Service business was spun out as a separate business unit during 4 due to the growing commercial and strategic significance of the service business.
With our corporate strategy "Profitable Growth for Vestas" we have communicated specific, focused growth targets for service in coming three years.
To achieve such targets while keeping our cost base steady requires a fundamental shift in how we operate - commercially as well as operationally.
The Global Service LEAN team is responsible for developing further our Service Business' continuous improvement and execution commitment culture.
We facilitate the process for Strategy Deployment, work on establishing global concepts, and implement breakthrough improvements based on world class methodologies such as Lean, Transactional Process Improvement and Six Sigma.
Responsibilities You will be part of a team of Lean and Six Sigma blackbelts in different geographical regions who will work constantly on increasing the Lean maturity of the Service business and implementing improvements to reduce operational costs.
The tasks you'll perform in your region will include but not limited to: Support the analysis, planning, design, implementation and evaluation of key projects to assist companies achieve their goals.
Using Lean methodology to accomplish measurable business process improvements.
Drive and Initiate Kaizen events and projects Share best practices of lean within the regions Secure Lean tools deployment and assess training needs Facilitate cross functional project solving sessions Qualifications To succeed in this position, we expect that you have: Bachelor's degree or higher Minimum 8 years of Continuous Improvement experience and previous experience smoothly Experience with Lean in a variety of environments (i.e.
Operations, manufacturing, transactional, Service) ideally in offshore wind industry Certification in Lean/ Six sigma black belt Competencies Must possess influence and persuasiveness and have significant interpersonal skills Experience with change management and implementation Experience building improvements based on value stream and communicating the next step towards future state in a way that our technicians understand Superior implementation and facilitation skills Ability to create impact, connect and manage the stakeholders Ability to follow up in different countries and with multi-cultural teams Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English Able to travel mostly within APAC and keep constant contact with colleagues What We Offer You will develop in a consistent and high-paced team in a global environment.
