Our client, a leader in advanced System-on-Chip (So C) design technology, is seeking a Silicon Design Engineer to join their team in Korea.
This role offers the opportunity to become a specialist in Network-on-Chip (No C) technology, driving innovation across cutting-edge So C designs.
The ideal Silicon Design Engineer will have a solid background in digital So C design and a knowledge of system architecture.
This position offers a unique chance to work closely with industry-leading solution architects, influencing the design and architecture of primary on-chip interconnects for next-generation So Cs.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on So C interconnect technology, providing clients with critical insights and guidance.
- Solution Presentation: Present No C technology features to prospective clients, articulating the value proposition and advantages.
- Customer Success: Work directly with clients to help them maximise the impact of No C technology within their So Cs, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and success.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a vital link between customers and R& D, conveying client feedback and enhancement requests to ensure continuous product improvement.
- Experience: BSEE/MSEE with a minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end digital So C design, encompassing RTL to synthesis.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient understanding of System-on-Chip architecture, with solid expertise in the AMBA AXI 3 & 4 protocol.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
A creative and analytical mindset is essential. - Travel: Flexibility to travel as needed, approximately 15%-25%.
- ARM & RISC-V Ecosystems: Familiarity with these systems, including CPU interfaces and fabrics.
- On-Chip Networks: Understanding of cache coherency and related technologies.
- Additional Tools: Experience with Place and Route, Timing closure, System C, HDL Simulation, Python, TCL, and UNIX/Linux.
- So C Integration Knowledge: Well-versed in integration flows and processes within So C environments.
