The Rail System Engineer or RAMS Engineer is responsible for providing technical advisory services on projects and ensuring service excellence for clients.
This role helps clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to international and local standards.
This position will get the opportunity to lead and work on a wide range of safety critical system development, Systems Engineering, RAMS and functional safety standards.
You will be expected to support the delivery for a range of services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including below, but not limited to: Conducting technical advisory and/or assessment services; Key customer management and stakeholder engagement; Supporting the sales team through technical advice and guidance; Training and capacity building services; Enterprise risk management; By understanding ever changing client needs, proactively seeking to identify customer needs and providing leads to the sales team; Leading projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations on time and on budget and to DNV quality standards; Leading and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients; Flexible work schedule with hybrid/remote opportunities for better work-life balance.

Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field of Electric/Electronic/Railway System/Railway Engineering; A minimum of 3 years’ experience (+ 5 years’ experience is a plus) within the Rail/Electronic industry in rail system, RAMS, functional safety and systems engineering using standards such as EN 50126 (IEC 62278).
Possess a rail system background; Possess safety analysis practical methods such as Hazard Log, FTA, FMEA, and common cause failure analysis; Reliability calculations; Auditing capability; Preparation of technical SE and RAMS system documentation as required; Strong communication skills in both Korean and English.
