About the role
Pixelogic is looking for an experienced English-to-Korean in-house QC editors to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with teams around the globe with the goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.
Primary Responsibilities Responsible for the creation and QC review of Korean subtitle files Maintain quality standards with accuracy and speed and adhere to style guidelines and project-specific instructions. Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality Must be punctual, dependable and flexible, and possess a team attitude and willingness to adapt to last-minute changes to programming and industry. Manage assignments on a pro-active basis and escalate issues to management. Misc. tasks assigned by Senior Management Collaborate with the translation team to address language-specific queries and provide constructive feedback. Review scripts, translations, final product upon completion to ensure the highest possible technical/linguistic standards. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Korean, linguistics and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media Minimum of 2 years of Korean subtitle creation and proofreading experience required Knowledge of professional scripting, and subtitling software highly desirable Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume Attention to detail and accuracy Positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiasm to get things done Excellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary, and grammar Ability to follow technical/style guide for multiple client content types Must be residing in South Korea
