Work with design engineers for the automation/robotization of industrial tasks. Develop products with new automation/robotics. Implement or test design solutions. Identify and select materials appropriate for mechatronic/robot system designs. Create mechanical models and tolerance analyses to simulate mechatronic/robot design concepts. Publish engineering reports documenting design details or qualification test results. Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new mechatronic/robot equipment. Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree and/or above in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or robotics majors. At least 3 years of working experience in the automation or robotics area. Design software skills (e.g., Auto CAD, Solid Works, PDM, etc.) for automation/robot development – 3 D skills are a must (Solid Works preferred), 2 D skills preferred. Mechanical-related license preferred. Mechanical, electronics, or software knowledge background preferred. Especially, robot software knowledge background preferred. Familiarity with MS-Office software. Project management skills with new product transfer experience. Problem-solving and investigation methodologies knowledge background preferred. Ability to work effectively across the matrix organization interacting with different functions.
