  About the department The Market Access and Public Affairs team at Novo Nordisk is responsible for maintaining and enhancing positive relations with external audiences, including the general public, shareholders, investors, and government organizations.

We actively engage with communities to address social, economic, and environmental challenges and promote Novo Nordisk's image in a positive way.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of defeating serious chronic diseases and making a positive impact on patient lives.

  The position This role involves leading public affairs projects to enhance awareness among public policy stakeholders and other internal and external stakeholders about Novo Nordisk's value to patients and their families.

It also includes maintaining and strengthening relationships with governmental and industry organizations.

Additionally, the position supports the Head of Market Access and External Affairs, working in collaboration with the Market Access & Pricing and Communications teams to demonstrate value to external stakeholders.

Responsibilities encompass implementing a public affairs strategy, managing projects for communication tools and tactics development, and nurturing external stakeholder relations and engagement.

  Other role expectations are as follows, but is not limited to: Assisting the head of Market Access and Public Affairs in developing the Public Affairs Action Plan, obtaining buy-in and cooperation from other company departments, and aids in implementing the strategic plan, achieving deliverables, adjusting tactics, and exploring new approaches.

(10%) Maintaining and strengthening Novo Nordisk’s relations with governmental and industry organizations, representing the company in relevant forums, seeking collaboration opportunities, monitoring policy developments, reporting to senior management as needed, and leading policy-related advocacy activities.

The focus is on improving the business environment for Novo Nordisk in Korea, particularly through initiatives such as obesity market shaping.

(35%) Strengthening the company's reputation and cultivating positive relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging these connections to garner support for future public affairs activities.

(20%) Leading Novo Nordisk's global collaborative initiative, "Cities Changing Diabetes," in Korea, managing the internal team, liaising with municipal governments, consultants, and other stakeholders, and providing project updates to management in Korea and the head office.

(15%) Leads Novo Nordisk's global environmental initiative, "Circular for Zero," in Korea, managing the cross-functional team and reporting on the project to management in Korea and the head office.

(20%) Qualifications Minimum university degree level is required.

Experience in stakeholder and project management is required.

Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare-related industry or healthcare policy.

Native level of professional spoken and written Korean.

Fluency in written and spoken English.
