How you will create an impact This role will focus on underwriting new business to help drive the profitable growth of our A&H LD Underwriting.

Will be responsible for assessing the desirability of risk through regular contact with TM, Agency channel close co-ordination with AIG subject matter experts and robust reviews of claims history and general company information.   As underwriting is one of core part in insurance company, underwriting assistant is very important role as he/she assess the risk and determine to take it or not, and it’s responsibilities are generally; Review and evaluate insurance applications and related quotation Manage risk appetite and monitor the insurance contracts if it is aligned with risk appetite.

Control of insurance risk and make a decision based on updated knowledge and experience Make an underwriting referral to whom have authority, if it is beyond his/her authority The role we are looking for this time is an underwriting assistant who supports underwriting for A&H LD insurance portfolio.

In order to support A&H LD portfolio underwriting, he/she should have many knowledge and experience on A&H personal insurance.

Thus, this role requires many knowledge and experiences, and can pass on his/her experience and knowledge about A&H personal insurance regarding regulation, history, background of the product, etc What you’ll need to succeed Strong knowledge and experience General Insurance over 5 years Proven insurance underwriting experience on A&H Insurance over 3 years Excellent knowledge of insurance policies and contract especially for A&H LD of general insurance.

Good communication skills with other functions Strong sense of responsibility Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.

Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
