It delivers significant finance support for the overall enterprise, optimizing operations, controllership, funding, and capital structure to honor our stakeholder commitments.
The team’s work is invaluable to informing leadership decision making, complying with regulatory requirements, and maintaining financial discipline, transparency and controls, while providing timely and meaningful information.
How you will create an impact Streamlined financial reporting for better decision-making with clear, concise analysis and presentation in K-IFRS and US-GAAP accounting policy Facilitated smooth month-end close processes by efficiently reconciling accounts and addressing discrepancies promptly Conducted detailed financial analysis to identify and evaluate changes in operations, trends and potential areas of improvement Reconciling and preparing quarterly VAT filing and Proxy VAT and WHT reporting Streamlined audit processes, coordinating effectively with external auditors to ensure compliance Contributed to the implementation of ICS procedures.
Ensure ICS procedures compliance when in place Strong analytical skills and proficient working knowledge of reporting systems Practical, hands-on problem-solving ability to complete tasks within the established deadlines Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in written and spoken English is a plus What you’ll need to succeed 3+ years of experience in financial accounting prior experience in the financial and insurance sectors will be considered an advantage Be part of a collaborative culture that is high performing, dynamic and fast-faced Relevant professional qualification preferred #LI-SK1 Reimagining insurance to make a bigger difference to the world American International Group, Inc.
