Job Description We are looking for Maternity Cover as the current Business Development Manager will soon be going on Maternity Leave.
Reporting into Managing Director East Asia, you will develop our publishing services to better service the academic, professional and corporate markets in South Korea.
You will focus across customer segments and market segments to cater to the needs of researchers, institutions, corporates and societies.

What you’ll be doing: Identify future business opportunities for our continuous revenue growth, especially for our e Books and other Online Products & Services.
Work collaboratively across the organisation to establish a consensus, data-supported view of priority goals and their correlation to increase our business value in longer term.
Conduct market research and gain insights through customers, editorial and sales feedback channels.
Provide competitor analysis and research by market segment.
Drive product and services communication to staff and customers.
Qualifications What we’re looking for: Demonstrable experience of business development and project management capabilities.
An analytical mind in financial forecasts, market & customer data, business intelligence, marketing plans etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Korean and English to effectively collaborate with English-/Korean-speaking stakeholders Knowledge of software preferred including Microsoft office, Sales Force.com, CRM etc.

This role is based in Seoul, South Korea.

Time spent in the office is likely to range from 10%-80% of working hours, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Seoul office.
