HVAC Technician plays a key role in maintaining a comfortable environment at the Hotel by adhering to the Four Seasons hotel policies and procedures. With technical expertise and strong management skills, they ensure the best guest experience, efficiently operate the team, and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities in case of any issues

Education

A university degree or equivalent experience or certificate is required

Experience

Minimum of 3 years as occupational HVAC specialist in hospitality, service or luxury industry

Desired Skills

In-depth understanding of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems)

Expertise in refrigeration/air conditioning technology, electrical, and mechanical systems

Continuous learning of the latest HVAC technologies and energy efficiency solutions

Team management and supervision skills for smooth system operations

Understanding of essential management items based on Engineering Policy & Procedure

Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments for smooth operations

Quick and accurate decision-making in emergency situations

Development of effective response strategies for system failures and abnormalities

Ability to promptly resolve customer complaints and discomforts

Understanding of relevant regulations and safety standards required for building and HVAC system operations

Responsibilities

Establishment of maintenance plans for AHU, FCU, chillers, boilers, pumps, and air ducts

Scheduling of preventive maintenance and regular inspections

Review and management of Building Management System (BMS) operations

Development of strategies for energy savings and cost reduction

Supervision of HVAC technicians and maintenance staff

Commanding HVAC-related troubleshooting and emergency repairs

Rapid diagnosis and work orders for HVAC system malfunctions

Management of emergency response processes for fire, power outages, and other critical incidents

Execution of new system implementation and upgrade projects for existing facilities

Management of external contractors and service providers

Review and adoption of energy-saving and eco-friendly HVAC technologies

Budgeting for HVAC facility operations and maintenance costs

Analysis of HVAC system operation data and review of optimization strategies

Visa Requirements

Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
