IT Solution Architect is responsible for Retail & Wholesale Contract Management related business* to implement efficient IT solutions in MBFS Korea by consulting the business to support business demands in all automotive financial service areas (Retail & Wholesale Operations, Billing & Payment, Accounting, etc.) and identifying business needs and collaborate with business to find optimal business processes considering as-is and to-be processes. Also, the personnel would be responsible for managing workplace problems and solutions.
Demand Management through Business Process Understanding
Define, plan, track and manage the implementation of business demands related to Digital business areas
Identify key priorities to deliver results by discussing with system analyst, business experts, suppliers and development organization
Gain insight into business processes and prioritize topics based on their business impact to drive business performance
Application Management
Actively assess the impact of planned IT changes on critical business processes and minimize risks for disruptions
Coordinate IT and business users to get input for planning and to present plans and ideas to have them approved
Ensure application documentation is set up and regularly updated
Supplier Or Development Org. Management
Support for procurement and handling invoices which requires IT application maintenance & services
Support to communicate and align with suppliers or development organizations for them to understand our issues or requirements in IT applications clearly
Manage supplier deliverables or work with development organizations to ensure whether it meets the purpose, has no critical issues and it is delivered with expected quality
Information Security, Data Protection and Compliance
Implement IT security concepts based on global Mercedes-Benz IT & IT Financial Services standards and local regulations
Implement appropriate measures to ensure data protection and data security
Maintain ethical standards in accordance with our company policies and the compliance guidelines and policies including all relevant competition laws

Required Educational Background
A first degree in Computer Science or other acceptable degrees include information technology, management information systems, software engineering and networking. Professionals who possess a master’s degree will have an advantage.
Professional Experience
l 7-8 years or more experience working in IT or financial company IT
l Good Knowledge of IT technologies & tools like JAVA, MS SQL, Git Hub, JIRA
l Experience in Digital Product or Services Development (Mobile or Web)
l Experience with Banking or Financial products will be considered a plus
l Experience in working as part of Agile teams | Experience and Discipline with Testing/QA
Required Specific Knowledge and Capabilities
l High degree of business and process knowledge in the field of the automotive and finance industry
l High degree of customer orientation, team spirit and motivation
l Good problem solving and moderation skills
l Self-Initiative, high flexibility in working schedule, high reliability in delivering results
l Language skills: English and Korean
