IT SPEC (APPSW) (TEMP 2 YEARS) Pyong Taek, South Korea Ausschreibungsbereich Outside KN Applicants Hauptaufgaben Serves as the Information Management Specialist (APPSW) for the Army Finance and Accounting Services-Korea (AFAS-K).

Responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and maintaining the IMA requirements of the (AFAS-K).

Is typically assigned to program complete relatively simple projects, or as a member of a team, is assigned to carry out substantial portions of moderately complex programs.

Formulates IMA architecture encompassing nonstandard and standard systems with consideration to serviced units on Army standard finance and accounting systems throughout Korea.

Develops, tests and implements nonstandard command unique financial applications.

Develops, maintains and trains on the various LANs within finance and accounting offices for window base systems, standard PC LANs, and nonstandard system LANs throughout Korea.

Constantly monitors daily operations of various LANs ensuring the system is run in accordance with IM policies and directives.

Evaluates information management effectiveness as expressed through customer satisfaction or review of major work products accomplished as evidenced in productivity, timeliness and efficiency and providing corrective guidance and assistance as needed.

Performs studies and troubleshooting evaluations of IM problems and coordinates/initiates corrective actions/enhancement.

Provides IMA management advice to 'Operating managers and supported customers.

Responsible on projects involving a wide range of system analysis/ design, programming, and implementing for any major systems for USARPAC wide application.

Performs other duties as assigned.
