Quality Inspection Technician-2 Positions Pyong Taek, South Korea Ausschreibungsbereich All current USFK KN employees serviced by Area III/North Civilian Human Resources Agency-Far East Region.

Hauptaufgaben Serves as a Quality Inspection Technician, Personal Property Processing Office (PPSO) for the accomplishment of origin and destination quality inspection services on all outgoing and incoming household goods for all personnel assigned to the Area III including clerical processing of all required documents incidental thereto.

Oversees works being performed and done by the contract carriers insuring that all contract requirements are complied with and the quality of work meets to the standard specified.

Inspects the material used methods, procedures and quality of service performed of all contractor carrier personnel.

Informs supervisor of the status to daily work.

Reports any carrier violation and other irregularities noted within his area of responsibility.

Assigns and controls the inspection workload within the Personal Property Quality Assurance Branch.

Performs quality inspections on all outgoing shipments; insures that individual shipments are properly packed, crated, weighed, stenciled accordingly, inspects, banded and DD Form 1253's attached as outlined in the commercial carriers' SOP.

Checks and rejects all commercial carrier packing and crating material which does not meet military specifications and standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.
