The position As a Clinical Medical Manager (CMM), you will facilitate clinical trials in New Therapy Areas by providing medical/scientific expertise and advice based on interactions with KOLs, professional associations, and patient advocacy groups.
Demonstrate independence, innovation, and initiative in prioritizing and performing tasks.
This role may require some international travel for site visits, congresses, and company events.
Your key tasks are: Identify and map KOLs, investigators, and research centers in relevant therapy areas in collaboration with clinical operations teams.
Engage with patient advocacy groups and collect valuable medical insights to share with the regional team and cross-functional teams within the local affiliate/Clinical Development Center (CDC).
Collect early scientific insights and guidance by discussing relevant development data with external medical and scientific experts, engaging with clinical experts for trial execution guidance, and ensuring site staff are trained on the trial's scientific background.
Act as an expert in relevant TAs and provide leadership in the scientific community through advisory boards, scientific meetings, and engagement with local Healthcare Professional (HCP) associations.
Assist with ad hoc requests with timely scientific and medical responses for KOLs, HCPs, site staff, clinical operations staff, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to successful clinical trials (phase I-IV) by collaborating with clinical operations to drive scientific discussions during site selection and initiation visits, performing ad hoc visits, ensuring KOL inclusion, and engaging key investigators to convey trial results.
Contribute to scientific retention and recruitment (SRR) activities locally and maintain continuous dialogue with investigators, site staff, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth study conduct and timely insights collection.
Assist Investigator Sponsored studies by evaluating proposals and ensuring follow-up after approval in collaboration with local Medical Affairs team.
Provide timely medical guidance and training to clinical staff by helping with training creation and delivery.
Qualifications MD or Ph.
D, Pharm D, Pharmacist in healthcare industry with strong clinical and medical, research background is essential. Require 5 years or more of clinical/pharmaceutical industry experience, solid expertise in relevant therapeutic areas, and experience in human healthcare research, preferably with peer-reviewed journal authorship.
Understanding of the specificities and nuances of the local healthcare infrastructure and pharmaceutical drug development.
Experience as clinical trial investigator or sub-investigator is preferred.
Extensive scientific communication skills for internal and external stakeholders, excellent and proactive communication skills, and strong presentation abilities.
