Description
Summary:CPS Korea – Production Planning Analyst is responsible for finite scheduling based on production efficiency and productivity in production. This role also involves detailed production performance analysis for continuous improvement in terms of both production efficiency and quality products.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, in-depth knowledge of APS (Advanced Planning System), proficiency in data analysis and continuous improvement methodologies, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
1. Finite Scheduling
Analyze and challenge production plans for dry and liquid parts developed by the master planning function.
Develop finite scheduling using APS, considering overall situations including labor resource, machinery constraints, raw material delivery schedules, holiday plans etc.
Monitor and track the production of dry and liquid parts, ensuring adherence to the planned schedule.
Calculate the required quantities of raw materials and packaging materials according to the production schedule, ensuring they are delivered to the site on time.
Serve as the primary link between the Planning and Production teams.
Lead the production management of over-forecast cases, including changes in production plans and priority products.
Participate actively in product-related changes, including work center modifications and process changes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
In the process of introducing new products(Included RFM), lead the review and input regarding production-related aspects (production speed, proper workcenter, considerations during production processes).
Ensure the accurate and timely implementation of new products in the production process.
Manage to ensure there are no discrepancies between the system and actual operations through continuous monitoring of parameters related to production speed and processes.
Manage and schedule production reworks, ensuring the availability of required materials at the plant.
Coordinate the reworking process and ensure it follows the agreed timeline with the planning department
Take ownership of the PTS (Performance to Schedule) metric, ensuring targets are met and continuously improved.
Participate on Special Assignments such as: Global benchmark initiatives, productivity initiatives or process improvement projects.
