Job Title: Strategic Innovation Enablement Manager Position Overview: The Technology Office Strategic Innovation Enablement Manager is a crucial position for the success of Life Science Strategic Partnership with KAIST (Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded young professional to drive interdisciplinary initiatives and projects within the company-KAIST Partnership.
In this role, you will be working closely with the local commercial team in South Korea of Life Science and Lab Solution business and Professors at KAIST.
As a Talent Development Program Officer within the company-KAIST partnership, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to multidimensional talent development programs ideation, design, and implementation.
Moreover, you will actively support other pillars of the Partnership such as Research Partnership, Experience Lab and others.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, senior management, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive long-term success and achieve strategic partnership goals.
Responsibilities: Leading a Program Office for Talent Development Programs (graduate fellowships, professor awards, etc.).
This includes administration of application and selection processes, coordination between internal stakeholders and professors, organization of oral presentation sessions and award ceremonies, communication to applicants, fellowship/award operations (contract, terms and conditions, legal review, payment, etc.), marketing support.
Supporting organization of the company-KAIST events such as scientific workshops, seminars, webinars, demo sessions, visits of senior leadership, etc., (development of agenda, stakeholders’ management, supporting events’ related logistics, etc.).
Supporting set-up and management of CAPEX and operational expenses (consumables and reagents) for the Experience Lab.
Supporting development of training modules for customers and academics.
Supporting activities of local Commercial team.
Managing tasks ensuring timely execution within the scope and meeting highest quality standards.
Communicating in a timely and effective manner with global internal teams and external stakeholders (students, academic collaborators and customers). Qualifications: At least Bachelors’ degree (Engineering, Business, Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Physics or related sciences).
Master’s degree and/or demonstrated interest in business through coursework, professional experience, or internships is a plus.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive and self-motivated mindset with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaborations.
Ability to work in interdisciplinary and agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
Fluent in Korean and English.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
