Job SummaryThe Manager, Green Energy role will be responsible for growing Pressure Management (PRM) Business Unit in the Sustainability & Decarbonization (S&D) space by planning, developing, and driving growth strategies across the Asia Pacific world Area. The candidate needs to work closely with Emerson’s S&D leaders in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies for partnerships/alliances with clients. The role needs to cover both existing, and new customers evolving in this market space including OEMs and package vendors to improve the PRM portfolio participation. Internally, the candidate will work with Strategic Business Units (SBU) to ensure product, value proposition, and marketing collateral readiness. This role will engage and collaborate with multiple functions across the Enterprise and Executive Management for building trusted advisor relationships and helping solve customer problems. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Develops and drives the implementation of strategic growth initiatives to grow Sustainability & Decarbonization business for Pressure Management Asia Pacific. Engages with customers to understand their S&D blueprint for each region within Asia Pacific, and plan to build a trusted advisor relationship by positioning PRM portfolio to solve customer issues working with SBU sales and marketing teams. Builds partnership with external stakeholders in developing innovative solutions, sharing our expertise with potential collaborators and influence specifications & requirements as well as future policy developments around S&D. Understands, monitors, and analyzes regulatory requirements in Asia and engage with SBU for compliance early in the business cycle. Maintains market analysis, business trends as well as competitive information in this space. Conducts market research to increase company’s visibility for business growth opportunities in Asia Pacific and drives marketing & sales initiatives to build the business and increase PRM participation in the S&D space. Identifies the applications that will enable demand generation, through deep customer knowledge. Collaborate with SBU representatives in developing solutions to meet customer needs. Drives the development of demand creation / sales enablers and S&D situational fluency competencies across the SBU Sales & Marketing teams with targeted industry and product training, strategic content resources and consultative selling skills. Manages and tracks S&D opportunities, annual targets and YTD orders working closely with regional sales leaders. Stays customer focused by spending 60-70% of the time in customer-facing activities. You focus efforts on continuous improvement; interested in identifying and seizing opportunities for alignment and integration.For This Role, You Will Need: Degree in Engineering with around 10 years’ sales experience in the relevant industry. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Experience in a similar industry; preferably in an account management, sales, business development or marketing function is preferred. Strong analytical and questioning skills coupled with ability to develop and implement strategies.
