Age: The employment age range for recruitment and placement is 18 to 61. The maximum employment age of 61 is not applicable for reappointed retirees who have received a notice of RIF separation.

Hauptaufgaben
Performs the full range of meat cutting tasks. Selects, cuts, bones and trims, whole, half, or quarter food animal carcasses into standard, retail, or specifically requested cuts, sizes, or portions. Required is a knowledge of the anatomy of food animals yielding pork, veal, beef, and lamb sufficient to estimate the kinds and number of cuts with a minimum of waste. Uses, cleans and maintains area and equipment. Uses, cleans maintains, and sharpens a variety of hand tools of the trade. Performs other duties as assigned.
주업무: 모든 종류의 고기절단 임무를 수행한다. 식용동물의 몸통의 전체나, 반이나, 사분의 일을 선택하고, 절단하고, 뼈를 골라내고, 손질하여 표준형으로 소매용으로 혹은 특히 용도별로 요청한 크기와 몫으로 만든다. 돼지고기, 송아지고기, 쇠고기 및 양고기가 만들어져 나오는 식용동물의 해부학적인 지식과 최소한의 낭비로써 어떤용도로 얼마를 잘라낼 수 있는가를 어림잡을수 있는 충분한 지식이 필요하다. 작업지역과 장비를 사용하고, 깨끗이하고 정비한다. 직업상의 각종수공구를 사용하고, 딱고, 정비하고 날을 세운다. 기타 부여된 업무를 수행한다.
Working Conditions: Employees are exposed to animal blood, grease, frequent noise, abnormal cold, and continuous standing on concrete floors. Subject to serious injury from powered and hand operated tools and equipment. Required to lift up to 40 pounds.
