Description: Marsh O&T is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Seoul office: Operations & Technology Leader Korea What can you expect: Support the business by developing and operationalizing the business strategy, to drive a best-in-class organization, enabling outstanding product and service delivery for Marsh clients, partners and colleagues.

Report to the Operations & Technology Leader Asia, the successful candidate will drive significant transformation while leading critical strategic projects and initiatives.

This role requires effective, inclusive collaboration and influential stakeholder management skills to drive success across the domestic market.

Work closely with key members of the Country Executive Leadership Team in addition to regional and global colleagues in Operations & Technology.

We will count on you to: Drive efficiency by delivering excellence in client service and productivity.

Ensure the process within operations runs effectively and efficiently, aligning to business expectations.

Engage team in continuous improvement initiatives and drive ownership of outcomes to improve the client experience.

Implement initiatives to increase client delivery capabilities and maximize performance, revenue, profile and market share while delivering outstanding products and services to the business.

Drive local market revenue growth while creating excellent client experience in collaboration with members of the O&T organization.

Partner on all aspects of the organization's operations and technology to drive expense and inefficiency out of the business.

Assist the leadership team in identifying and maximizing opportunities in the local market.

Continue the execution of the long-term Target Operating Model strategy; evolve and define the building blocks of O&T to ensure best practices are utilized across the firm.

Leverage data and analytics to drive the business agenda and track performance against industry benchmarks.

Monitor progress against key metrics to drive accountability to new ways of thinking and working.

Make use of external networks to stay current in the industry and anticipate and respond to dynamic market needs.

Manage day-to-day operations within the team.

Evaluate the team's performance, develop and implement processes and policies to ensure that colleagues achieve optimal performance.

Grow and mentor talent within the team.

Establish a culture of high performance and collaboration, focusing team on operational excellence and efficiency.

Attract, retain and develop best-in-class talent.

What you need to have: Experience: Minimum 10 years’ on-the-ground experience in operations & technology within the financial services/ insurance sector.

Open to considering strong candidates with sound experience in matrixed organizations with best in class in operational practices.

Strategic thinker with the ability to roll up sleeves with as much comfort.

Operational Excellence & Champion of Change: Demonstrated experience in the delivery of operational excellence through appropriate methodologies, automation and digitization.

Solid track record of reaching across organizational boundaries to marshal resources and drive enterprise-wide changes.

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Proven ability to drive process reengineering across a shared services organization and/or Centres of Excellence (COEs).

Prior experience of successful offshoring work desired.

Customer Centric: Tenure within an organization with the customer at the core.

Evidence of delivering significant change to improve NPS and customer experience.

Call centre/ CRM experience preferred.

Cultural Acumen: Experience working and managing a diverse team.

Ability to build and foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders and colleagues in a diverse and matrixed environment.

Cultural dexterity in navigating in Korea and operating within a regional/ global platform.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Korean.
