Location: West Casey Chapel, Camp Casey, Korea Minimum Qualifications: Completion of minimum two (2) years of undergraduate formal training as a Piano Performance major (verified by transcript).
Minimum two (2) years of experience performing piano in worship or religious settings, including working with choirs and ensembles.
Ability to sight-read hymns and four-part harmony from the Armed Forces Hymnal or chapel hymnal.
Must speak and communicate effectively in English , both orally and in writing.
Must pass an interview and audition with the Senior Chaplain and receive approval from the Chaplaincy Resource Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Provide piano accompaniment for the 0900 AM Sunday Catholic Mass , including prelude, offertory, hymns, postlude, choir pieces, and soloist support.
Perform 1 hour of rehearsal before each Mass , totaling approximately 2 hours per Sunday.
Provide musical accompaniment for 52 regular weekly services per year.
Support Choir/Praise Team rehearsals (up to 52 rehearsals annually) as scheduled by the choir director.
Provide piano accompaniment for Special/Seasonal Services such as memorials, funerals, or Holy Day observances (up to 10 services annually).
Conduct rehearsals for Special Services (up to 10 per year).
