Key Responsibilities
HR Partnership with Retail Team
Serve as a strategic HR partner to the retail and store teams, aligning people strategies with business objectives.Address people-related issues, strengthen employee engagement, and promote HR best practices.Partner with business leaders to continuously improve HR operations, ensuring alignment with both corporate and retail field needs.Lead the performance management cycle to nurture a high-performance culture.Support and implement key local and regional HR initiatives.Budgeting & Labor Cost Management
Lead the labor budgeting process and manage labor costs in line with retail business plans.Analyze labor cost data to provide insights that inform business decisions.Support annual and quarterly HR budget planning and execution.Employee Relations & Compliance
Support daily labor relations activities, including collective bargaining agreements, wage negotiations, labor-management council meetings, and other related discussions.Review and update internal policies to ensure compliance with labor law changes.Develop and implement employee relations practices to promote a healthy, compliant work environment.Support compliance matters and maintain cooperative relationships with government agencies.Retail Recruitment
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for frontline retail positions (e.g., store managers, sales staff).Work closely with retail leaders to identify talent needs and create effective sourcing strategies.Key Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with solid experience as an HR Business Partner or in Compensation & Benefits (C&B), supporting business units.Proven expertise in C&B, including budgeting, labor cost management, and compensation structure analysis.Retail industry experience required, with a strong understanding of frontline workforce dynamics.Experience working with labor unions preferred.Contact
