Key Responsibilities ·Identify key markets/verticals and develop business opportunities to grow revenue.·Help manage contract negotiations and agreements, with support from General Counsel and Finance, with associations and partnerships, as needed.·Develop effective strategies to build brand awareness and gain access to decision makers.·Generate, qualify, and nurture sales leads and build relationships with prospective clients and partners.·Develop a comprehensive mapping of the local markets, including Total Addressable Market (TAM), Revenue opportunity, Key target clients.·Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the market, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and tactics.·Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy for the Korea market, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.·Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty through effective communication and solution delivery.·Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including distributors, edtech, education groups, and government offices, to enhance market penetration and drive sales.·Monitor sales performance against targets, analysing sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Key Requirements·BS degree in Business administration, Education and/or related major and MBA or master’s degree preferred.·Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth in Korea.·Over 10 years of practical experience in education, certification, testing, data analysis, and edtech-related fields.·Strong understanding of the Korea’s education market landscape, including key trends, customer segments, and competitive dynamics.·Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.·Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to develop and execute effective sales strategies.·Leadership skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.·Assessment, English language teaching, language learning, edtech experience preferred.·Fluent English and Korean speaking & writing skills.·
