As the Sales Manager for Hasbro Korea, you will recommend and drive a vision and strategy for the Korean market, according to Hasbro targets, plans and principles.
As we supply Hasbro products in the market through direct retailers and distributors, you will also be responsible for implementing commercial plans and effectively deploying resources with the respective distributor/s to achieve optimum revenue, profitability and market share.
Responsibilities: Drive indirect distribution of the retail universe through distributor partners.
Develop strong relations with the customers to build long term partnerships that makes Hasbro their partner of choice.
Lead the strategic business planning process to develop 1-5 year plans per market and customer Administer approved investment budget and track efficiency of spending and ensure performance-based usage of approved budget In partnership with our key distributors and/or retail partners, proactively prepare and develop annual business planning for approval by regional management. Ensure development and implementation of customized Sales plan and strategies for the achievement of Hasbro priorities and further growth Review sales analysis and reports from distributors and customers: understand key sell through patterns in store; provide feedback and suggest improvements to drive sell thru and business development opportunities.
Lead and guide distributor teams and sales support functions efficiently Lead sales terms discussions with Customers and ensure they are in line with the overall sales strategy and budgets for recommendation and agreement Identify and champion continuous improvement in new ways to better meet Customer needs Leverage full support of the wider business resources as appropriate to meet Customer needs Direct account business plans to ensure they meet both Hasbro and customer objectives, and reflect the overall approved sales and brand strategy Lead weekly and Monthly Business reporting incl regular Business Reviews Supervise the preparation of forecast/sales plan on brand and product level for each specific customer and translate into sales. Partner with Distributor leadership to ensure their teams have the skills and resources required and that they operate in a manner consistent with Hasbro values and priorities Attend product previews in conjunction with the team and with relevant customers Present account plans to the Management Team for review and recommendation Partner with consumer and channel marketing to ensure full understanding and execution of the Brand strategies and monitor that brand plans are executed at retail and KPI’s are achieved in accordance with agreed strategy Ensure appropriate quarterly performance conversations take place to effectively develop and retain talent to meet current and future business needs Partner with direct reports to create team objectives and provide constructive feedback on performance on an on-going basis Lead the team by example: ensuring effective communication, support and recognition is in place Identify, recruit, retain and develop talent when/if needed Ensure compliance aligned with Sarbanes Oxley reporting requirements.
Qualifications And Skills: 8+ years senior sales experience with branded or lifestyle consumer products in multinational, matrixed organisations across multiple brands and high volume SKUs (FMCG or relevant Toy / Entertainment or Fashion company desirable) Previous sales experience across broad channel portfolio including distributors and direct Knowledge of various offline & online servicing models (outright / SOR / consignment / e Com enabler) Fluent in both Korean and English language (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate in a clear, persuasive that demonstrates high levels of EQ.
