This role will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of raw material supply to the Delivery Systems and Services Business (DS&S), by managing key supplier relationships and ensure that suppliers are meeting requirements of the business. Not only Strategic Sourcing approach for the commodity in charge but also Buying and planning activities to ensure optimal inventory/purchasing levels and continuous supply of material to support demand. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing material sourcing strategies which could be global DS&S sourcing category. Understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) and materials management systems is also required for this position. The incumbent will be responsible for driving continuous improvement with suppliers and must possess a thorough knowledge of root cause/corrective action resolution activities as they relate to supplier non –conformances. This position will work closely with Production Team, Engineering Team and Commercial Team to get timely information of the raw materials required for production in equipment factory. The position shall also work with Global Sourcing Team in other regions on materials sourcing to get timely supply, good quality and lower cost materials to achieve the business goals. Manage key supplier relationships and develop/execute sourcing strategy for the best performance of Cost and stable supply aligned with global category startegy Ensure timely supply of the raw materials and on-site service through effective communication with internal stakeholders (Material handler, Customs department and QC) and vendor management Review of production demand and creating and executing purchase orders Communication of key information regarding material cost, delivery and availability Identification and qualification of new suppliers to meet changing business needs Monitor and communicate supplier performance (supplier ratings and meetings)Effective Inventory management to ensure stock availability and minimize obsolete inventory risk including safety stock management Work with suppliers for resolution of issues for Supplier Non-Conformances including compensation Set-Up and manage annual cost reduction target and result Ability to work effectively with other regions in US/CN/TWFollow all the company’s global policy related to Procurement Follow Quality and SQM procedures Achieve safety, health, and environmental targets (ex: Recordable Injury Rate) through the deployment of an effective Basic Safety Process (BSP) based on the management of Factory Manager. Participate in S&Op meeting and other meetings to provide necessary parts and sourcing related inputs to the internal stakeholders Timely report to the manager including highlights, lowhight and market insights Who You Are: Above college grade in Business, Engineering, Science, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent+ 8 years of startegic sourcing and materials management related work experience in manufacturing business Good knowledge of purchasing disciplines and ERP systems (SAP preferred)Excellent global strategic sourcing experience and skill Procurement Governance experience (inc.
