You will be based in our Seoul office, being part of McKinsey Office Technology Experience Team to provide IT support to the Seoul office, and also part of a team that supports all locations in North East Asia and contribute to support Asia-Pacific.You will collaborate closely with our Office Technology team and wider Technology & Digital function colleagues to ensure optimum utilization of office technology, timely introduction of firm standard IT products, and cost-effective IT solutions. You will build and maintain excellent relationships with internal colleagues and act as a trusted advisor and go-to person for IT-related topics and support requests.In this role, you will ensure the success of the end-to-end customer journey of Seoul office users in IT-related queries and issues. You’ll provide the best customer service by actively and attentively responding with genuine curiosity, coming up with effective solutions, and displaying full ownership when problem-solving with other teams. You’ll effectively deliver a customer-first attitude and mindset in all scenarios even when details might be vague or unclear.You will work to ensure that networking, server rooms, laptops, phones, audio, and video are in working order and upgraded with minimum interruption to users. You’ll facilitate repairs and maintenance of infrastructure and other equipment with local vendors. You’ll create and update trouble tickets in a timely manner and link them to global problems.You’ll be part of the team to deliver new IT solutions to users in local offices. You’ll build opportunities for local users to become aware of new firm-approved IT products, assisting with the adoption and deployment within the office. You’ll engage with users within the offices to constantly understand their needs, anticipate how new tools could aid in the day-to-day work for support colleagues and consultants, and set-up these tools. You’ll report back to Team Leads and Managers any feedback or patterns that might be emerging from the training provided.You’ll participate in projects to improve the daily functioning of IT within offices, upgrade current infrastructure, special on-site meetings and events, and office moves.You’ll participate in knowledge sharing of current and new products/services with IT team members collaborating to come up with innovative solutions and standardized approaches to assist with consistent customer service.Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in a technical subject or equivalent education2+ years of relevant technical experience, ideally in a professional services environmentDemonstrated proficiency in technology, and the ability to quickly learn about new productsKnowledge of standard IT applications across Windows, macOS, and iOSStrong verbal and written communicationMust have good English skills to work closely with global teams to deliver technology experiences Ability to explain complex situations in layman’s termsStrong organizational, interpersonal and collaboration skills; strong problem-solving skills; strong service orientationAbility to build a customer and ownership-focused support culture Ability to consistently deliver great customer experiences Ability to handle stressful situationsAbility to assess customers’ support needs when they arrive, then provide solutions or refer them to other team membersAbility to facilitate user experiences through briefings, workshops and events
