Job Responsibilities: Act as a technical interface with customers, establishing professional relation ships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed Ensure that required prerequisites (. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work Produce functional and concept technical design specifications and provides technical leadership, support and expertise for single discipline Ensure that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost, until project completion Monitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, ensure effective change control and identify risks/opportunities Proactively recommend potential quality and efficiency improvements Share technical knowledge and provide guidance to operation and sales Actively contribute to the pre-engineering phase of a project Support direct sales to define and estimate the engineering/technical scope of work Coordinate and interface with third party vendor/systems and manage sub-contractors Support project commissioning & site service, if required Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Minimum of five (5) years of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or other control system design, engineering & application experience in related industries such as process, marine, machine automation, etc. is preferred. Good knowledge of valve, instrument and controls is preferred Good interpersonal & communication skills Good command of English both spoken and written Willing to travel
